Cheiron Studios 2®
Cheiron Studios 2 is a music production entity based in Orlando, Florida (USA) that is operated by Cheiron Music Group ("CMG"). Working on various music production projects with select recording artists, mainly in the genre of Pop, Cheiron Studios 2 continually strives to follow in the footsteps of its iconic predecessor, Cheiron Studios, which was the legendary recording studio located in Stockholm, Sweden that was co-founded by music production icon, Denniz PoP, and his creative business partner at the time, Tom Talomaa. During its heyday, which spanned from its opening in 1992 and lasted until its closing in 2000, Cheiron Studios was responsible for creating some of the most famous pop music in history. Throughout that time period, globally famous pop music acts such as the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Five, Celine Dion, Robyn, Ace of Base, Westlife, Jessica Folcker, and others recorded some of their biggest hit pop songs at Cheiron Studios.
Today, Cheiron Studios 2 produces music for a new generation of select recording artists as they aim to make an indelible mark in the world of pop music. The CEO of Cheiron Studios 2 is Christopher "Rocket" Pasquin, who is also the Chairman & Chief Music Officer of CMG, as well as the Founder & CEO of Rocket Records and CEO & Chief Music Officer of Trans Continental Records, respectively. Tim Coons, who is President of CMG, was the original music producer for the Backstreet Boys during the group's first couple of years with Trans Continental Records (which, by the way, is now distributed worldwide by CMG, exclusively). Tim also produced some music for *NSYNC and other Trans Con acts during their initial years with the famed record label. These days, Tim serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Cheiron Studios 2 and produces music for some of the recording artists who are currently distributed by CMG, as well as for some others. Tim is also the Founder & CEO of the world-renowned music production and recording artist development company, Atlantic Hill Music.
In early 1995, Tim played a role in helping to initially connect Trans Con to the music production team at Cheiron Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. That team just happened to include a mostly unknown, up-and-coming music producer and songwriter at the time named Max Martin, who has since gone on to become arguably the most accomplished music producer and songwriter in all of history, having already had over seventy-five Top 10 records to date from iconic artists such as the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Robyn, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, and others. Max, along with Denniz PoP and Herbie Crichlow, co-wrote and co-produced the Backstreet Boys first ever song recorded at Cheiron Studios, "We've Got It Goin' On", which was released commercially worldwide in September 1995 as a 4-track Maxi-single that included "Tell Me That I'm Dreaming", a song originally co-written and co-produced by Tim, as said Maxi-single's secondary B-side.
