The Wait is Nearly Over: Debut Single from the Beatzone Boys Nearing Worldwide Release by Trans Continental Records. Emerging Orlando-Based Boy Band Is the First Act to Release New Music Under Famed Record Label in Two Decades.
Orlando, FL - The wait is almost over. On August 21, 2026, Trans Continental Records, which is the primary Pop record label distributed globally by Cheiron Music Group ("CMG") as part of the company's CMG Label Group, will break a twenty-year silence with the worldwide release of “Favorite Mistake,” the debut single from the Orlando-based boy band, Beatzone Boys.
This moment carries deep history. The same record label that helped define late-1990s and early-2000s pop is back with new music, guided by its accomplished business and creative team, including CMG's own Christopher "Rocket" Pasquin (Chairman & Chief Music Officer) and Tim Coons (President), along with world-renowned vocal coach, Gerry Williams, and a select few others. When “Favorite Mistake” goes live on Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, and other major global platforms, it will carry the same Trans Continental name that launched some of the biggest pop music acts ever, namely the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC.
The release also marks a full-circle reunion. In the label’s earlier years, Trans Continental artists routinely traveled to Stockholm, Sweden to record at the original Cheiron Studios. Today the label is distributed worldwide by CMG, with CMG President and longtime producer Coons—the original musical architect behind the Backstreet Boys—helping steer the creative direction via CMG's top music production entity, Cheiron Studios 2, official successor to Cheiron Studios.
Trans Continental was built on tight vocal harmonies, unforgettable pop hooks, and a genuine love for the fans. With the Beatzone Boys leading the charge, that machine is running again.
